1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using QuiltDesign.app ("the Service"), operated by David Brookes ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QuiltDesign.app is a free online tool for designing quilt patterns. The Service allows you to:

Create and customize quilt block patterns
Apply fabric textures and colors
Save designs to your account (requires sign-in)
Export designs as images and cutting lists

3. User Accounts

Some features require you to sign in with a Google account. When you do so:

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You must provide accurate information
You must not share your account credentials

4. Your Content

Ownership: You retain ownership of the quilt designs you create using the Service.

License to us: By saving designs to your account, you grant us a limited license to store and display your designs back to you. We do not claim ownership of your designs.

Responsibility: You are responsible for the content you create. Do not upload or incorporate content that:

Infringes on intellectual property rights
Contains illegal, harmful, or offensive material
Violates any applicable laws

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
Use the Service to harm others or their property

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without permission.

Fabric textures and patterns provided in the Service are licensed for use within the tool. Your use of these assets in your exported designs is permitted.

The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google for authentication). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Defects will be corrected
The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
The results from using the Service will meet your requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months prior to the claim.
